Gen'l Clark's Gender Gap

Considering how he comes across on TV, it's hard to believe that Wesley Clark has a gender gap, but in fact his campaign acknowledges such. General Clark himself is quoted in today's New York Times: "I think there's an impression that the armed forces is a male-dominated, hierarchical, authoritarian institution," he said in an interview on Thursday. "And I think they have to get to know me."

So he's showing up at events in argyle sweaters, corduroys, and duck boots (fer crissakes!)

Candidate Makeover Alert! Does no one remember what happened to Al Gore?
