Disloyalty Like Burr's Requires Emergency Action

 

This is how hollowed out the North Carolina Republican Party has become because of Trump: the Central Committee of Party pooh-bahs have called an emergency teleconference this evening for the sole purpose of censuring their senior senator ... because you just can't let an outbreak of personal integrity and conscience fester.

Will anyone on the Central Committee support Burr's independence from Trumpism? Will we know?
