News that one of the most influential and venerable Republican families in the NC-10 is abandoning the reelection campaign of Congressman Patrick McHenry in favor of his Republican primary challenger must be a cringe-inducing moment for the McHenry organization.The challenger, Lance Sigmon (is that a name for a colonel in the Air Force, or what? or a name for a male porn star?), is going to give McHenry a fit of the willies before the polls close on May 6th.
