You guys still haven't been able to get rid of her? How many years has it been since you began? How many promising candidates paraded through the High Country? Has it been two decades of futility? of vain endeavor? I wonder if you dream of going over Linville Falls together with her at the end, like Holmes and Moriarty. Heck, maybe you'll get her before then. But probably not.
