ROGER SHARPE LEADING IN 5TH DIST. DEMS RACE ... Some were predicting that none of the four Democrats running in the 5th Dist. primary would get the necessary 40 percent to avoid a run-off, but if his numbers continue to hold, looks like Roger Sharpe might win outright. That's with 61 precincts in Forsyth not yet reporting, where Kirkman's strength is presumed to reside. But all evening Sharpe's percentage of the vote total has gone steadily upward.
