On the list of those openly withholding their endorsement is NC's Walter "Freedom Fries" Jones, who's not with McCain on the Iraq War (which means he's not much with McCain)."Jones ... said he can't back McCain until he gets 'a better explanation of the plans for Iraq and more discussion on the economy.' Jones added that no one from McCain's campaign has reached out to him."
Another NC congresscritter, Sue Myrick, refused to say whether she endorses McCain.
Apparently Madam Foxx, who early on endorsed Romney, has obediently saluted the McCain candidacy. It's not like the Madam to buck the bosses.
