Tuesday's Republican primary in Pennsylvania saw the ouster of at least 13 veteran state Republican lawmakers, including the two top state senate leaders (with 56 years of combined service between them). Several other contests were too close to call as of late last night, according to the NYTimes. Mostly the winners of these primary contests were the more conservative candidates.
North Carolina careens right. Pennsylvania follows. At a time when the American electorate is waking up (theoretically?) to the extremism of this ruling regime, it gets more extreme.
As Montgomery Burns on "The Simpsons" used to say, making his fingertips into a spidery tent, "Eggs-salent!"
