We have a cascade climate emergency and overwhelming unpayable debt (not only government financing but throughout the financial system). Our military is outdated and horribly inefficient. Institutions lack consent of the governed. The only little thing Donald Trump had the power to correct was the Epstein-Trump sex extortion network. To do so he would have had to accept life imprisonment. This recent war on Iran is bigger than it looks. To fix international relations the USA would have had to abandon its settler colonialist bullying and embrace co-operation. It might have to bomb Israel to stop nuclear war. But instead almost every policy is opposite peacemaking and adapting to climate reality. MAGA has been magical thinking about preserving dominance and the updraft in wealth to the 1%. Likely the con game has caused extinction because we are beyond most tipping points. Both Trump and Meet the Press are part of a sideshow to divert our attention and buy a few more months of "normalcy." How's your garden, Jerry? I just picked about 2 gallons of blue lake green beans, maybe the last ones I'll ever grow. After Summer I'm going to broadcast all my wheat berries with clover seeds and not try to plant anymore. Both major Parties are deep in denial.
Red Hornet, 2 gals of Blue Lake Green beans suggest that you don't live in the mountains. My father always grew Blue Lake. I prefer a variety of pole beans marketed as "Emerite."
I live 20 miles north of Charlotte because I inherited a tiny cottage. Can't afford to move. Just buying seeds was a strain on my income. My higher education has made me very poor.
