So far, I haven't noticed the prices going up on anything I buy, nor have I seen any shortages.
Prices definitely need to come DOWN. We need a period of deflation to gain purchasing power.
Since January, Trump tariffs have brought in over 70 billion dollars the the Treasury.

I have, and I've noticed a reduction in quality of fresh vegetables. Wonder of that could be related to the loss of immigrant farm workers?

Perhaps it depends on where you shop. I buy mostly fresh fruits and vegetables, meats, fish and dairy. Loss of farm laborers might cause shortages, but it could also be seasonal. I am disappointed that prices have not fallen, rising wages are great for those still working, but those on fixed incomes are still being hurt from the Biden inflation.

I wondered what was causing all this torrential rain and flash flooding.
