Dan Soucek Hops on the Gay Discrimination Express

Dan Soucek wasted no time jumping on as a cosponsor of S2, the "Gay Discrimination Enablement Act of 2015," introduced yesterday by Senate President Pro Tem Phil Berger.

Yup, Senator Soucek always has and probably always will display a consuming contempt for gay people. That and private schools are his two issues.

You need to take a chill pill. You have tried everything known to man to defeat Soucek and you have failed. Get over it. Get off the Blue Point/Print jag and present fair information instead of crap.

Take a chill pill? Are you kidding? JW is supposed to just accept the deeds of Dan Soucek? No complaining, no fighting back, no argument? Well, not in this universe. "Fair information"???? You mean, Soucek isn't a HUGE supporter of unequal treatment for gays and isn't for privatizing education? You've obviously taken another kind of pill altogether, one that makes you ignore the truth.

Anonymous 8:24, you seem to have troubling grasping the fact that this is a blog written by a Democrat and he is entitled to write any thing he damn well pleases. Sheesh! I don't understand these people who come onto blogs and act all high and mighty and tell people to "get over" things. If you want to present "fair" information, start your own blog - they're free! No one is making you read JW's opinions.

Dem 12: I agree with you that a person certainly has the right to publish what they please in their blog, but I can not agree it is fair information. It his point of view and he certainly has that right. I guess it depends on what side of the fence the person is on to agree or disagree. Dan Soucek was not defeated and he is in office now. No matter his stand on a matter, he is in office and he should be respected as such.

I think that most of the biggest anti-gay Republicans are themselves closeted gays with mommy issues. That's why they are so worked up about sexual orientation.

  6. Just one question, Anonymous who replied to my post: President Obama won election twice and is now in office. Where is all this "respect" from the Republican side? Why didn't Republicans "get over" that one?

I must have hit a nerve about fairness and truth.

Dem 12: The Republicans have treated the President with complete respect. They are basically trying to make things better for Americans. One example that has ended up being a disaster is Obama Care.

Yes, such a disaster that one of my grown children now has insurance (she was refused coverage until the Affordable Care Act), and the other's insurance bill has gone from $1400 a month (yep, that's a correct figure) to $300 for the same coverage.

"Dem 12: The Republicans have treated the President with complete respect."

I can only assume that you're a fellow liberal and you're making a joke. The level of disrespect, hostility, and outright racism that has been directed at President Obama has been ridiculous.

Betty White, no I am not a liberal making a joke, I am a person that knows reality. Racism, I doubt that. Hostility, I even doubt that more.
