Koch Blocked

It was the Koch Brothers who funded a web ad last week that features a man in a "creepy Uncle Sam" costume preparing to give a college-aged woman a pelvic exam.

For college students especially, this is really against their best interests. Most colleges now require students to have health insurance. If the student doesn't buy on the private market, they get stuck with a policy the college provides which is expensive and not very good. Most students can buy a policy on the exchange for less than $100/month, compared to the $700/per semester that many college policies cost.

You're right about the poor coverage on the college policies - they don't reimburse for most things. Fortunately, with Obamacare, our kids are able to stay on our policy until age 26. Some exchanges are already set up, and that's helped our out-of-state kid find a good policy he can afford. I'm pleased.

I'm sorry to see so many scare tactics being employed to try t convince people Obamacare won't be a good program. Why not let it be fully implemented and see? I think what Republicans are really afraid of is that it just might work!
