Camel, Meet Needle's Eye
Christianity Today, reporting on a recent poll by the Pew Research Center for the People & the Press: "Most people of all faiths feel taxes are unfair and that the wealthy need to pay more."
They are too busy attacking Ron Paul the old guy who is scaring their pink sissy Neo-Con pants off..Occupy them now and send them packing to Mars.........lol..
I recently read a very good book on the issue of civic responsibilities. The importance of a prosperous "middle class" as the primary engine of a healthy and sustainable economy is driven home with clarity and a "long view" vision by the authors.
The book? "The Gardens of Democracy" by Eric Liu and Nick Hanauer.
Socio-economic justice in general, and equitable tax policy in particular, are a consistent theme in the book. A timely book to say the least.
