Well, That Didn't Take Long

As predicted here just this past Sunday, the new Republican majority in the NC General Assembly, which was so recently overwhelmingly in favor of an independent redistricting commission, has experienced sudden and severe aphasia, or a coughing fit, and is now concerned that there just isn't enough time before the 2012 elections, what with all the gay marriages to head off and the preggers girls to force into early motherhood, plus the other four and twenty blackbirds of mischief they need to yank out of their pie before the voters really catch on to their schemes.

I certainly hope they will redistrict in the same fair manner as the Democrats have done. (Hee Hee Heeee)

Well, Anonymous, I believe that was JW's point ... that Republicans have an opportunity to DO BETTER, but instead, they're going to be assholes about redistricting, JUST LIKE THE DEMOCRATS.

When given the opportunity to be morally superior, like they always claim to be, your guys are just as self-serving and sleazy as the people they hate and claim to be better than.

    With all due respect.

The local Democratic Party tried to push the state Party to support an independent redistricting commission for the past 6 years or so.....looks like the People are screwed no matter who's in power.
