Instead of addressing the issue of endemic racism within the Tea Party movement, he is throwing counter accusations that have nothing to do with the issue. It's a classic move to try and put "the other side" on the defensive thus avoiding the original topic. The only reason to play that game is if the person has no valid argument to offer.
