CONTEST TIME! The first person who can guess which shoes in the photo below belong to [ESPN personality Erin] Andrews and which belong to Rep. Virginia Foxx (R-NC) wins a t-shirt.
Why was The Madam there in the firet place? The testimony related to )gasp!_ increased government regulation in our lives. She did not care to give legal protection to Matthew Shepard, why should she care about what happens to this chick? You know she will vote against whatever legislation comes up on this matter anyway b/c as she reminds us often, Nancy Pelosi controls the agenda, and she certainly would not want the Democrats to get ANYTHING passed if she can help it. BTW does anyone know how she voted yesterday on continuing to fund the Afghan war? Isn't another $59 billion going to increase the deficit?
Good post, brotherdoc! I agree with your take on things. Rethugs only seem to "care" when they are in control. Let's not forget the Terry Schiavo debacle.
APPROVAL OF VEHICLE TAX Upon a motion by Council Member Ball, seconded by Council Member Mason, Council moved to amend the agenda to consider Item 7.T. Approval of the Vehicle Tax prior to consideration of the FY2010/2011 Budget Ordinance
I've got to go with the Madame in the high heels. Everyone knows she has waaay to much class to show up at a House hearing in bedroom slippers.

ReplyDeleteThat is, I think the slippers are on Foxx. Sometimes, she lacks complete class.
