Ask Virginia Foxx or her henchman Aaron Whitener about the Blowing Rock Land Trade and see what kind of reaction you get. Aaron Whitener hates getting called on his role in misleading voters in this deal that paired corrupt politicans at the federal level (Foxx and Robert Burr) with corrupt politicians at the local level (Mayor JB Lawerence and the Blowing Rock Town council). Absent from this deal were the TAXPAYERS!!!
You won't find out the details. The details are buried so deep that they will never be known. The fact remains that the Town of Blowing Rock spent 500,000 of taxpayer money to buy 190 acres of land that just happened to be located near a town councilmember's home that has a 1.3 million dollar view. Knowing they would be called on this purchase sooner or later, the town secretly held negotiations with Foxx last May and concocted the land trade as somehow being essential to the Town's water supply. Again the taxpayer had no ability to comment on this process which, through Foxx and Whitener, is now a done deal.
I am not sure that Foxx's facial expression has anything to do with the vehicle captured by the photographer.
Anyway, I know angry, hateful eyes, and Foxx's, in this photo, are the eyes of someone joking around and having fun.
Is she joking about the gay pride truck? I don't know. Possibly.
Did BikerBard just jest, in a recent thread, about getting punched by a lesbian nun? Definitely.
I don't see anyone calling BikerBard out, which brings me to the fact that WataugaWatch uses homosexuality for its own purposes, attacking individuals with claims and charges of homosexuality while attacking its foes as homophobic and intolerant.
I have had many gay and lesbian friends throughout my life, and I have never thought about questioning their "pride", or anything else. They, just as all my other friends, have been friends.
For the life of me, I do not understand the WataugaWatch fascination with classifying people according to their race, sexual orientation, and faith.
Perhaps by focusing my college course of study on hard science and mathematics, I missed important lessons in the humanities about how to categorize and label my fellow human beings, my friends?
The gay pride stuff makes me sick. What is to take pride in? Tell me? It is crazy.
There is a minister in Watauga County performing same sex marriage. Excuse me, I believe that is against the law in NC. Excuse me, I believe the Bible speaks clearly to that. What do you use as your sermon text? I am sure your sermons have a lot of substance to them (LOL)...believe me I am being sarcastic
Mike - You are missing the point. JW is not making fun of the gay community. He is making fun of V. Foxx for her homophobia. I myself heard said gentlewoman compare gay marriage to bestiality.
I always suspected that Foxx was a Republican Tea Party Bull Dike in Drag for centuries......

I always suspected that land trade had a suspicious odor to it. I never did find out the details though.

Ask Foxx:
ReplyDelete1) Why were you fired from ASU? And what happened to the "other guy?"
2) In the past, weren't you a liberal feminist? And if so, what happened?
3) How many times were you arrested for shoplifting?
4) How many illegal aliens have you employed at your business?
If only someone in the media had some guts!
To be honest, I thought this Pride Float was out of place at a 4th of July parade. I mean think about it, we did not have a straight pride float.
ReplyDeleteDon't need one for "straights." They have never had their pride questioned. Just like we don't need a "White History Month."

Mike, please, try the decaf and lighten up. And you owe me an apology.

You too, Nony. I'm sure you make gay people, and many regulars of WW, sick also!
