Wanna see some furious backpedaling?Accusing fellow Americans, particularly Democratic fellow Americans, of being "anti-American" or "unAmerican" or "pals of terrorists," etc. (ad infinitum) is the chosen trope this season of Republican politicians. Language that is then followed immediately by the rush to first lie about what they said and then to deny that they meant what they said. Witness Michelle Bachmann, Robin Hayes, and others ... who are now sliding down the electoral tube into oblivion (we trust).
