Heath Shuler Gets His First Republican Challenger

Carl Mumpower, an uptight Asheville city councilman, has declared he'll seek the Republican nomination to challenge NC-11 Congressman Heath Shuler.

Still no word from ex-Congressman Charlie Taylor about his plans. We bet he'll decide to stay on the porch.
