The gunman in the Gabrielle Giffords shooting. On YouTube.
It's a strange rant, but give it time. He gets around to referring to himself as a "terrorist." Also as a recent military recruit.
Apparently -- and we're not making this up -- it all comes down to the government's controlling grammar.

J.W.,
Nice job, rushing to judgment and trying to pin this one on Palin.
I watched the video you linked as well as the other two posted on the shooter's Youtube profile, and I think it's going to be tough for any group to pin this lunatic to the views of any other group.
I thought that, perhaps, if I read the shooter's list of favorite books, I might be able to figure out if he is a rabid individualist, a crazed fascist, or a radical collectivist, but sadly, his preferred reading list includes one by Ayn Rand, one by Adolf Hitler, and one by Karl Marx. It seems he is an army of one.
Here is his book list, by the way:
"I had favorite books: Animal Farm, Brave New World, The Wizard Of OZ, Aesop Fables, The Odyssey, Alice Adventures Into Wonderland, Fahrenheit 451, Peter Pan, To Kill A Mockingbird, We The Living, Phantom Toll Booth, One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, Pulp,Through The Looking Glass, The Communist Manifesto, Siddhartha, The Old Man And The Sea, Gulliver's Travels, Mein Kampf, The Republic, and Meno."
Nice job, Mike D., rushing to exonerate Sarah Palin from any blame whatsoever. Looks like Palin herself is feeling a little differently, since she rushed out the Facebook statement, either covering her ass or actually expressing some felt guilt.
We can always depend on you, Mike D., to rise up in righteous indignation when JWW points out a plain fact. Where exactly did he blame Palin? He merely said she had targeted Giffords, which is obviously true.
I think people are to blame for the ideas they communicate but not for the actions of a person with a disordered thought process. The shooter's list of favorite books shows how many different influences there have been, but this does not matter because he is unable to make sense of what is out there. I interpret his actions as the expression of free-floating rage that has no logical connection to anything. Congresswoman Gifford was his target, but I don't think he understands why she was his target.
