Guess what all agencies (public and private) asked for?
........here it comes - a PHOTO ID.
No one asked for a driver's license, they asked for Photo ID.
The requirement to prove my ID to accomplish certain tasks in today's world is not so onerous as to be an offense to my freedom.
Those who demand to be left off of the grid just need to pull up their big girl panties and deal with it.
Grid or not, they benefit from the structure and performance of government and society even if it is only to walk down a public road to sell their macrame and veggies at the organic farmers' market and swap meet.
My advice, save your pennies and, when you get $10 get a photo ID.shysternoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6194583.post-78984275087309503742010-12-16T22:05:39.395-05:002010-12-16T22:05:39.395-05:00If taxpayer supported ID's were made available...If taxpayer supported ID's were made available to anyone who could prove legal residency in the United States were made available would that appease the ones who cry discrimination?G.I.Gnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6194583.post-85825624546210694392010-12-15T20:34:34.387-05:002010-12-15T20:34:34.387-05:00"estimates that 10 percent of the total U.S. ..."estimates that 10 percent of the total U.S. population do not possess a driver's license or other photo i.d."

1. That might be a figure that interests you, but it is not relevant to your point.

The number that MIGHT matter is the number of CITIZENS of legal age and eligible to vote that do not have photo IDs. Come in from the cold, onto the "grid" and get one. I don't know how anyone can survive in this society without a driver's license, passport or photo ID. One of them is required for damn near anything you do.shysternoreply@blogger.com
