On her website, Madam Virginia Foxx takes credit for securing $1 million in federal funding for the Statesville Regional Airport.She doesn't mention that she actually voted AGAINST the appropriations bill that contains the federal funding for the Statesville Regional Airport.
She needs to rewrite her press release:
I want to thank the Democrats in the U.S. Congress for making it possible for me to brag about getting money for my district that I actually worked against. Without them, I'd have precious little to show, other than a teapot museum.What would she have said if her side actually prevailed in that vote?
